Ham & Bacon Cheesy Potatoes


Potatoes always go well with anything. This time, they go with ham and bacon. Ham and bacon cheesy potatoes are quite similar to mac and cheese, only that instead off using macaroni, we use vegetables. People love ham and bacon. They add them to almost any imaginable dish. Considering this dish has a pretty high amount of meat and bacon as well as cheese and carbohydrates, we do not recommend it to people who are trying to lose weight and people with high cholesterol.

For those of you who can eat without worrying, making this dish does not take much. With the right ingredients, anyone can make this simple meal. Besides that, you can add some other things you like and replace the composition. This dish’s flexibility and simplicity are astonishing. This meal also fills your belly. But not to worry if you have leftovers. You can just put it in the fridge and put it in the microwave for a few minutes to eat it again.

By the ingredients, this ham and bacon cheesy potatoes is not the meal for everyone. Some people are forbidden to eat products from pork. But do not worry, because you can change the ham and bacon to other ingredients and another kind of meat. Happy eating!


Ham & Bacon Cheesy Potatoes

Hearty, creamy and flavorful these Cheesy Potatoes are filled with bits of ham, crumbled bacon, loads of cheese and is bursting with flavor in each and every bite.



  • 4 Tbs butter melted
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup crumbled cooked bacon
  • 1/3 cup green onions
  • 1 tsp minced onion
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 1 2 lb bag frozen diced potatoes, thawed
  • 1 16 oz container sour cream
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup


  1. Preheat oven to 350.Spray a 9″x13″ baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In large bowl whisk together soup, sour cream, melted butter, salt & pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and minced onion until smooth.
  3. Next add in your potatoes, cheese, ham, bacon and green onions and toss to coat really well so everything is saturated.
  4. Spread into prepared pan and bake uncovered in oven for about 45 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake for about 10 minutes longer.
